Welcome to Mama Hearts Baby.  I’m Carla, the mama behind the blog.  I live in the beautiful Ocean State with my husband, Jeremy, and our daughters, Dessa and Farrah.

Having my daughters opened my eyes to the joy of motherhood and also made me want to be my best self possible.  I knew instantly I had to make an effort never to get lost in my role as a mama and wife.  In an attempt to not lose sight of the carefree, city girl spirit in me , I started this blog to have a place of my own.  A place to chronicle the things I’m passionate about, to share my opinion, to remember pretty things, to figure out motherhood, to keep the Cuban Jersey girl with a love of her college town (Boston) alive.
